Objectives and competences

General objectives

The degree in Computer Engineering qualifies students to become dynamic and adaptable professionals with flexible and cross-cutting skills, and broad knowledge of different work areas. The curriculum of the degree has been designed to provide students with the basic skills, knowledge, and abilities to meet different needs that may arise during their professional career.

Not only is our programme structured on the basis of a number of basic and compulsory courses, fully in line with the main reference standards in the field. In addition, our curriculum also aims to open up new possibilities and areas of study thus enriching current programmes offered by other Spanish universities.

Graduates in Computer Engineering at Universidad Isabel I will become experts in ICTs and will be able to work successfully adapt to fast-changing environments thanks to the academic and personal development undergone during their training.
