ICE Scholarships

What are they?

With the aim of retaining the talent developed in key areas such as R&D or internationalisation within the Castilla y León region, university foundations along with the ICE, begin this scholarship programme in order to provide first job opportunities, build bridges between University and the business world, and create quality jobs in the medium and long term.

The programme will provide training internships during a six-month period and on a full-time basis.

The trainees will receive a gross monthly income of 650 € (750 € in companies located in Soria), that will be paid directly by the corresponding University Foundation (as MANAGING ENTITY), after deductions.

The internship cannot be combined with other employment, scholarship, or any income received from similar programmes’ managing entities.

Who can apply?

Recent graduates from Castilla y León universities or with vocational training qualifications (from any field), unemployed and with less than a year-experience in their area of expertise (higher-level qualification).

Companies that can join the programme

The HOST INSTITUTIONS will be companies, business groups focused on innovation, corporations, non-profit public or private foundations, all of them located in Castilla y León, and involved in any R&D (Research and Development) activities or internationalisation projects, or willing to do so, according to the established regulations regardless of the managing entity.

The applying companies will be exempt from any cost-sharing, being the ICE responsible for the full funding, including the graduates’ income and Social Security payments.
