Methodology

Our methodology is 100% online and interactive and will help you speak a foreign language in no time.

You will learn the language gradually and easily thanks to our learning resources and teaching approaches. Our unit contents are focused in up-to-date topics and include plenty of media resources and language-in-use activities that you can do anytime and anywhere. And feel free to make mistakes! At Universidad Isabel I School of Languages you can make as many mistakes as you need.

The courses are structured in five different levels according to the CEFR: A1, A2, B1, B1+ and B2.

The duration of each course is 150 hours: 6 months divided into two terms and a total of 6 ECTS credits.

Units will be opening progressively, so you can study gradually and at your own pace.

Our courses evaluation is based on continuous assessment. At the end of each unit you will find the gradable activities that are part of the course assessment.

All our language courses are taught by highly-qualified teachers that will help you and guide you through your learning process. They will develop the gradable activities at the end of each unit and will encourage communication and discussions through the fora and other interaction tools in the Virtual Classroom. You will only need Internet connexion, a computer, a microphone and a webcam to get started.

Will I get a certificate? Is it a recognised certificate?

Students successfully completing the course will receive a certificate by Universidad Isabel I which includes the level acquired by the student according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) descriptors.

For the official recognition of Cambridge level qualifications, students will have the opportunity to take our multilevel examination ( Linguaskill) once the English course is completed.
