M2- Specialisation in Early-childhood Care and Psychomotricity

Psychomotricity is a key pillar in the early-childhood stage. Therefore, this specialisation aims at studying evolutionary aspects of development such as motor and cognitive skills. This specialisation qualifies professional teachers to work individually or in multidisciplinary teams focused on early childhood care during the child’s first years, and on measures for psychomotor development during their last years of this educational stage. Consequently, the teacher becomes crucial in the early detection of any cognitive or motor disorder, being able to work hand in hand with other professionals and the families to ensure a proper education based on the specific learning needs of the children.
